Keyboard & Touchpad

M15x has a full size keyboard, but not the numeric keypad. The keyboard keys are quiet and rubberized finish for better grip. Tactile feedback and key travel is good, the keyboard has a slightly rubbey feel is nice. Keyboard communicative enugh to type quickly and accurately. I like the arcehd space.

The touchpad is too texxtured, matte suurface. Heavy textue alliows full contact of a finger with the real surfface and makres use of sensory unpleaasant; mouse lag appears on the screen when trackoing due to the less than adequate contaact. The two touchpad buttos work, although, as expected, soewhat noisy.

M15 has a number of buttons located on the media in the left side of the keyboard. They include touch and work well. Status lighs all contained in the Alien’s head over the keyboaard. It flashes for a hard drive, and glows a different color from the battery and when connected to (remember, thgese colors can be changed via AllienFX). It pulses durnig charging.
